Financial Help
| The Foundations to the Indiana Academic Standards for Young Children from Birth to Age Five have been developed by individuals with expertise in children ages birth-5. The Foundations are based on the latest national research and findings for all content areas and domains. By outlining specific skills and concepts and giving examples of instructional strategies, these foundations will support teachers, parents, and caregivers as they develop appropriate experiences for young children to help ensure success in kindergarten.

Real Services
| Real Services has the responsibility of planning, developing, implementing and administering a network of services that are of high standards, are known, available and used by older adults and low income households in north central Indiana (Elkhart, Fulton (low-income only), Kosciusko, LaPorte, Marshall and St. Joseph Counties), based on their age and/or economic status.

Head Start
| Head Start is a federally funded, comprehensive, child development program for eligible children and their family members.
Children with special needs may apply.
The age cut off date for the 2011-2012 Head Start program year is August 1. Children need to be 3 years old by the August 1st date. Children who are 5 years old and do not meet their Corporation’s Kindergarten cut off date may also apply.
